The Ship Management Agreement
Jeanette Andersson from the department of law at the School of business, economics and law at the University of Gothenburg investigates the contractual relationship between the ship owner and ship manager and how the legal position of the ship owner and ship manager respectively can be established despite the current lack of Swedish contract law infrastructure. Her research project is funded by Lighthouse.
She also teaches contract law, labour law and maritime law at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. She has been part of the ‘Mandate Contracts’ Study Group on a European Civil Code as Swedish rapporteur.
Before she became a PhD, Jeanette Andersson served at the Lindesberg district court, and at Volvo Global Trucks Corporation and Volvo Lastvagnar AB.
